LED Retrofit at 100 United Nations Plaza
Built in 1986, this 267 apartments, 52 floors building offers an spectacular view of the east river, local gardens and the New York City skyline. 100 United Nations plaza has 267 residencies many of which have been updated to include top-of-the-line appliances and finishes such as granite countertops, custom cabinetry, whirlpool bathtubs and washer and dryers.
DVM Industries performed the replacement of existing lighting not ontly to improve the energy performance and efficiency, but to enhance the tenants’ experience and safety. The work included: Retrofitting existing fluorescent T8 fixtures with LED Lamps, replacing existing compact fluorescent screw in and PL lamps with Energy Star© and applying for utility incentives to offset project costs.
