EC motors (Electronically Commutated Motor) have electronic commutation systems, rather than mechanical commutators and brushes. An EC Motor has an electronic control with internal microprocessor and memory that allows for variability capabilities control, and it is typically 30% to 70% more efficienct than standard motors.

  • Permanent magnet rotor allows for less losses that leads to better efficiency
